Mission

Oh, for a heart to know Thy will,
A mind to walk Thy ways,
That I may all Thy wants fulfill,
And thrill to sing Thy praise.

Increase my talents, Lord, I pray
That I may prove to be
A help to others on the way
To Thine Eternity.

Without Thy guidance I am lost,
And dumb, but that I speak
Thy words to those who's paths I've crossed
A light to those who seek.

I wish to hear no other voice
Than the words that set me free,
For, when I made Thy will my choice,
I thrilled to walk with Thee.

I want to seek and find a few,
Now groping in the dark,
Who've never heard, or ever knew
The words to fan that inner spark

That they have glowing feebly there,
That, when Thy Spirit hovers near, and sweet,
Then they will know Thy loving care,
That spark a flame, and life complete.
